This is a care sheet on Fire Belly Toads i hope it is helpful to you
Fire Belly Toads Size : The get only from 2 - 3 inches long
Fire Belly Toads Caging : The cage should be a 10 gallon, at this size it could hold a pair of them. The tank must consists of 50% of water and 50% of land. Make sure there is a screen top not just to hold light figures but as well to make sure the frogs do not escape.
Fire Belly Toads life span : They can live a good 10 - 15 years
Fire Belly Toads lighting and temperature : Air temperature should stay around 69 - 75 but of course with a basking spot that reaches to 74 - 85. The water temperature must stay from 75 - 78. You must have a UVB light on top of the cage for it is used to give of special lighting that they will need you can leave this light on for 12 hours. If you need something to raise the temperature of the water because the house is cold get a aquarium heater at your nearest pet store or online. You will need a heating bulb for it will consists as your basking spot for the toads, keeps this light on the land part of the cage.
Fire Belly Toads Bedding : The bedding should be consisted of a soil type of bedding. Small rock type beddings are not recommended for they can eat it and can cause problems to them.
Fire Belly Toads Feeding : The most of there diet consists of crickets, you can feed meal and wax worms to your fire belly toads only rarely as a treat.
Fire Belly Toads mineral supplement : Just powder your live food with calcium and it should be fine.
